About this stay
The property can be reached by a seaplane. Roundtrip transfer from Male’ International Airport. These aircrafts (DH-6 Twin Otter) are customized for water landing; their flying hours are restricted to daylight hours by the Aviation Authority of Maldives. Taking into consideration of custom clearance, flying duration to the resort and its return requirement to its base at Male airport, same-day transfers are guaranteed to all arriving guests, whose arrival time at Male’ airport by 15:00. For departing guests, whose flight departs from Male after 9:30. -Round trip from US$1,209 per adult, inclusive of taxes and service charge. -Round trip from $706 per child (2–11), inclusive of taxes and service charge. -Infants (under 2) are complimentary, sitting on parent's lap. Please inform Six Senses Laamu of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. There will be compulsory Gala Dinner on Christmas Eve and New Year Eve to be contact to resort for special rates. All the half board rates are inclusive of dinner up to 2 adults only, any extra person or child shall be charged additional at standard rates.

From the moment we set foot on the property to the time we left, we were in heaven. I walked off the boat to use the restroom and watched two stingrays and parrotfish swim underneath me. This was about how hard it was to spot sea life. During our stay we effortlessly swam with turtles, eagle rays, sharks and even bottlenose dolphins (a first, apparently, for the snorkel trip). We chose this resort because of the house reef and we were not disappointed. It is the best snorkeling I’ve experienced in the whole world and I’ve been all over. Do not miss the snorkel trip that takes you to an even more stunning reef, if that’s even possible. This is a “barefoot luxury” resort that is stunning and subtle, with tons of delightful touches that were unexpected. There is: - Complimentary homemade sorbet, ice creams and popsicles - many which are dairy free and made with coconut milk. - A sugarcane hut giving out shots of fresh squeezed sugar cane - The most gorgeous beachfront spa with the most talented masseuses - An organic garden where they grow a lot of their greens and herbs - The best breakfast buffet of all time, if you like organic, healthy, probiotic food - Comfy lounge beds everywhere - Perfectly groomed bike roads - Butler service that’s actually responsive and helpful unlike every other place I’ve ever stayed that has a butler I’m not usually this superlative about places but this one deserves it. - The reef isn’t accessible from your bungalow. You walk to the main restaurant and go from there. You can snorkel in the sea grass from your room and there are ray’s and turtles instead. - The seaplane lounge is just so-so, and you will probably be stuck there for hours so bring some real food so you’re not eating bread and muffins for ages
