The resort is so beautiful and the water looks unreal. The villa was amazing, the staff were lovely, and the food was really good. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

- Wir verbrachten die Osterferien im Ananea Resort. Dieser Urlaub begann schön, endete jedoch in einem absoluten Desaster, weshalb wir das Resort niemandem weiter empfehlen würden! Unsere Strandvilla mit Pool war modern, sauber, und geräumig. Der Zustand des Strandes liess jedoch zu Wünschen übrig. Neben haufenweise abgebrochenen Korallen, trafen auch wir auf unschöne Sandsäcke am Strand. Auch Müll lag zum Teil in den Pflanzenbeeten und wurde während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts nicht weggeräumt. Der Service (insbesondere der des Hotelmanagements) war jedoch eine Katastrophe. Ob morgens beim Frühstück oder abends an der Bar: an 10 von 12 Tagen bekamen wir falsche Getränke serviert. Anfangs lachten wir darüber, aber als sich das stets wiederholte, obwohl wir morgens immer dieselbe Bestellung aufgaben und abends auch alkoholische und nicht-alkoholische Getränke verwechselt wurden, (was bei unserer minderjährigen Tochter durchaus eine Rolle spielt) hörte der Spass auf. Begründet wurden die Fauxpas mit dem mangelndem und daher überforderten Personal. Der Gipfel ereignete sich am letzten Abend, als wir die Restzahlung tätigen wollten und das Hotelpersonal uns drei Mal klarmachen wollte, dass die Zahlung nicht geklappt hat. Beim dritten vermeintlichen Fehlversuch nahmen wir Kontakt zu unserer Bank auf, welche uns bestätigte, dass die Zahlung sehr wohl drei mal getätigt wurde. Anstatt uns ein Wasser anzubieten und konstruktiv nach Lösungen zu suchen, war es ein rund 2-stündiges Hin und Her, bei dem uns am Ende auch der Hotelmanager und der Finanzchef keine Lösung anbieten konnten. Die Begründung lautete: sie könnten ihre Bank an einem Feiertag nicht erreichen. Man würde sich jedoch weiter drum kümmern, hiess es. Ohne Lösung gingen wir schliesslich verärgert ins Zimmer zurück und der letzte Abend war kaputt.
