You & Me Maldives

We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our honeymoon. You & Me Maldives is the ultimate spot if you want to relax, unwind, and enjoy incredible food in paradise. A huge thank you to our host, Nihad—he did an absolute fantastic job and made everything so seamless and easy for us throughout our stay. We also want to give a special shoutout to Wasana, who went above and beyond to make sure our breakfast and dinner were always amazing. The food here is truly awesome! Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly warm, nice, and respectful. Excellent hospitality, delicious meals, and total relaxation—we couldn't recommend this place more!

The staff are very welcoming and nice, the activities in the island are within reasonable price. Prices of rooms were a bit high, and thinking about it you would think paying around 5K USD for 3 nights they will provide you transports from and to the airport like other resorts do. But nope they don’t. I was shocked when I got my bill 12 hrs before my checkout stating 1000 USD transportation fee for 2 persons by seaplane. Turned out they did mention it somewhere in a very long paragraph that it’s chargeable but I still do believe that they intended to hide it between the lines. They started by saying ‘we offer convenient transportation’ and they go on with 6 lines and then they tell you it’s chargeable lol. Of course highlited the issue to them but no response.

The water villa was lovely especially the little pool. And the Italian restaurant was exceptional including the service. The bed was super uncomfortable. The mattress was old and had a permanent hollow. It was like sleeping in a hammock and gave me back ache. Also the sunbeds on the beach don’t adjust. So you have to lay prostrate the whole time. You can’t sit up on them. The food became repetitive as you have to order from the menu and a lot of it I wouldn’t want so you order the same things. The white night was a damp squib. It was all the staff lined up whilst they told us who they were and what they did. Whilst I appreciate the staff at any hotel, I don’t need a half hour lecture informing me of their roles. Who does that? Finally the underwater restaurant was a rip off. For a family of four it would have been pushing $1000 and you don’t even get a drink for that. So we didn’t bother. Also they feed the marine life at the restaurant so there are plenty of sharks/fish etc in the promo pictures, whilst the rest of the resort is barren. You won’t see much snorkeling off the beach. We also wanted to do the snorkeling trip twice. My wife and daughter didn’t want to go so I asked if my son in law and I could go a second time. They said no and there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing before they relented and said ok. Why not do that straight away. We wasn’t asking for anything for free. We effectively had four seats and only two people wanted to go. We were told the trip is always fully booked but there were loads of seats on the boat when we went.
